As per latest guidelines and also the part of the PAHAL scheme, the subsidy amount is transferred directly to the bank account of the account holder. This is also known as direct benefit transfer. There are a few conditions which are applicable over this. If you fulfill the conditions, only then you are able to get the subsidy. And one such condition is that your taxable income should not be more than Rs 10 Lakh annual. There are some other conditions also. Also, if you fulfill all the criteria’s but still do not want to take the subsidy, you can drop this. But, in today’s time when there is so much inflation and price-hike, no one want to drop the subsidy. Previously people do lot of frauds in this. And got more than subsidy for the same family. Later this have been changed. Now, your Aadhar card is linked to your gas connection. Therefore, there is very less chances of such frauds.
Although, the process of getting subsidy is very simple and you need not to worry about this. But, still there might be some of the issues which you can face while getting this subsidy. This article is particularly about this. Here we providing the information that in case you did not get your subsidy than which are the whole things you need to check and this is for all three of the gas service providers like Indane gas, Bharat gas and HP gas.
What can be Done If I Didn’t Receive LPG Subsidy?
SO, in case you have not get your subsidy, you need to check some of the scenarios, But before this please be assured that you have not get the subsidy. For this, please check the details of your bank account and the history. If after this, you are sure that you have not get the subsidy, you can follow the following steps:
- LPG Refill Delivered but Subsidy Not Received: SO, if you have received your LPG gas cylinder, but the subsidy has not been credited o your account. Please make sure that, you waited for 2-3 days. Usually it take 2-3 days to get the subsidy transferred into your account. And please do not include the gusted holidays and weekends among this. This need to be working days. if more than 2-3 working days have been passed and you did not get your subsidy yet than there is need to take the action, otherwise please wait.
- Status shows transferred but the amount is not reflecting in bank account: So, you can also check the status of the subsidy. We have already provided an article over this. SO, you can see that article in order to check the status of your subsidy. And, if the status if transferred, then you need to visit to your bank account or if you do not want to visit, you can also contact them, Also, check your bank transactions details. Now transaction is completed from payee side, you need to check the details on other end.
- Transaction Failed: So, when you check the status of your transaction, and it is being shown failed. Then, first you need to contact to the bank. Bank would help you will this. And, if in any case the bane is not able to help you, than you can also get in touch with the service provider. He will definitely help you and it is his duty to help you.

Than need not to worry. The Gas service provider is always there to help you and solve all your queries and take action on your complaints. So, there is a toll free number for the customer service and this number is same for the Indane Gas, Bharat Gas and HP gas. the number is 1800 233 3555. You need to call this number. A customer service executive will help you. He will listen your complaint and solve it for you. The resolution will be provided as soon as possible. Might be it take some time as per the issue.
If after doing all this, still you are not able to solve the issue. Then, there is one last option. You can fill a form. The form number is 6. This is for the Grievance Redressal from PAHAL. You need to fill this form and after filling this form, you need to submit the form to the nearest distributor. One you submit the form, action will be take in 5-7 working days. Weekends and national holidays will not be counted in these working days. These need to be complete working days.
